EXPOSING
THE GNOSTIC CULT OF FREEMASONRY
A Satanic Religion
By Gary Ray Branscome
The Spirit specifically says that in the future some
will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of
devils (1Timothy 4:1).
During the last three hundred years the cult of
Freemasonry has played a major role in promoting religious syncretism, and its
adherents have infiltrated many denominations, soliciting members for their
organization within Christian churches. At the same time, the fact that many of
its members come from a Christian background helps to conceal some of the more
unsavory aspects of that organization. Nevertheless, all is not as it appears.
By teaching that all religions lead to God, Freemasonry contradicts Scripture.
By urging its members to value what is good in every religion it opens their
minds to religious falsehood, while denying that those religions lead to hell.
And, by urging its members to worship with those of other religions it promotes
idolatry (2Corinthians
Although the Masonic religion claims to
honor God, and “make good men better,” it is it is tolerant of both paganism
and occultism, and such tolerance does not “make good men better,” or honor the
God of the Bible.
While the Masonic Order recruits Christians into its
ranks, while encouraging them to remain active in their churches, many of the
entry level Masons (members of the first three degrees, known as the, Blue
Lodge) are not aware of the satanic aspects of Masonry. Masonry is presented to
them as more of a “good ole boys” club. They are only introduced to its more
unsavory aspects if they become a part of the inner circle as they rise to the
higher ranks. Even then they are only given as much information as they are
willing to accept.
The following information comes from the book, “MORALS AND DOGMA OF THE ANCIENT AND ACCEPTED
“The Blue degrees are but the outer court or portico
of the temple. Part of the symbols are displayed there
to the initiate, but he is intentionally misled by false interpretations. It is
not intended that he shall understand them; but it is intended that he shall
imagine he understands them. Their true explanation is reserved for the Adepts,
the Princes of Masonry.” (MORALS AND
DOGMA, page 819.)
Because of that deception, many Masons
think that Masonry is compatible with Scripture, when it is not. The words, “The
Supreme, Self-existent, Eternal, All-wise, All-powerful, Infinitely Good,
Pitying, Beneficent and Merciful Creator and Preserver of the Universe was the
same, by whatever name he was called… The name Al represented his remoteness
above men, his inaccessibility; Bal and Bala, his might… As Moloch or Malek
he was but an omnipotent Monarch, a
tremendous and irresponsible Will;”
tell us that the Masonic order regards Al [Allah], Bala
[Baal], and Moloch as valid names of the God they worship (MORALS AND DOGMA, page 208). While the words, “Masonry, around whose altars
the Christian, the Hebrew, the Moslem, the Brahmin, the followers of Confucius
and Zoroaster, can assemble as brethern and unite in prayer,” tell us that they
view their god as a god worshipped by all false religions (MORALS AND DOGMA, page 226.)
Here
are some more quotes from the book, MORALS
AND DOGMA:
“The occult
philosophy seems to have been the nurse or godmother of all religions, the
secret lever of all the intellectual forces,” (Page 729).
“The dunces who led primitive Christianity astray
by substituting faith for science… have succeeded in surrounding in darkness
the ancient discoveries of the human mind,” (Page 732). [Note: Of those
“ancient discoveries of the human mind,” the Bible says, “Professing themselves
to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the incorruptible God
into an image made to resemble corruptible man, and birds, and four footed
beasts, and creeping things,” so masonry sides with paganism against Scripture
(Rom. 1:22-23).]
“It is humanity that creates God; and men think
that God has made them in His image, because they make him in theirs,”
(Page 736). [Note: this is a clear denial of Genesis.]
“Paul of Samosata taught that Jesus Christ was the Son of Joseph and
Mary,” (page 564). [This is a clear denial of Christ’s virgin birth. While
Masonry does not require the initiate to accept what Paul of Samosata taught, they are expected to be tolerant of all
such opinions.]
“Arius adopted the
theory… When God resolved to create the human race, he made a Being which He
called The Word,” (page 565). [This is close to
what the Watchtower cult teaches.]
“The Human Soul is the image of God, and it existed
before the body,” (page 252).
“The human soul is itself daimonios [demon] a God,” (page 393). [Note: This is close to what the Mormon cult teaches,
which is not surprising since the Joseph Smith and his brother
Hyram were deeply involved in Freemasonry; and
adapted some of its rituals and practices into Mormonism.]
DEVIL WORSHIP
The words, “The things that the Gentiles sacrifice are sacrificed to devils, and
not to God,” tell us that all gods other than the God of the Bible are
devils (1Corinthians
At the same time, we read, “Lucifer,
the Son of the morning! Is it he who bears the light…? Doubt it not!” [A
statement that portrays Satan as God] (Morals and Dogma, page 321).
In keeping with that reversal, the
book Morals and Dogma says, “The demons forbade Adam to eat the fruit of
"knowledge of good and evil,” // “Demons created Eve, who
seduced him into an act of sensualism that enfeebled
him, and bound him anew in the bonds of matter” (page 567).
The words, “Amun,
at first the God of
Conclusion
The statement quoted earlier, “The Blue degrees are
but the outer court or portico of the temple. Part of the symbols are displayed there to the initiate, but he is intentionally
misled by false interpretations,” reveal the satanic [deceptive] nature of
Freemasonry.
Because Freemasonry views all religions as different
paths to God, their Lodges will take on the appearance of the surrounding
culture. In a Hindu area they may have a Hindu holy book on their altar, while
placing a Bible on their altar where Christianity is prevalent. Likewise, their
funeral services will reflect the religion of the Lodge member being buried. To
the shame of the Christian Church, the Masonic funeral used for Christians
often does a better job of presenting Christ as “the resurrection, and the life”
than many churches do (John
Just as Freemasonry recruits members who are unaware
of its hidden teachings, Mormonism (which is an offshoot of Masonry) recruits
members who are unaware of its hidden teachings. One woman who left Mormonism
told me that she was a member for four years before they began to introduce her
to some of their “weird doctrines”.
Because Mormons have “repurposed” certain aspects of
Freemasonry those two cults were at odds with each other for many years, but
they have resolved their differences and
