GALATIANS

Galatians Chapter 6

¶ Brethren, if a man is overtaken in a fault, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of humility; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.

Bear one another’s burdens, and in that way fulfil the law of Christ.

For if a man thinks that he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

But let every man prove his own work. Then he will have satisfaction in himself alone, without comparing himself to others.

For every man will bear his own burden.

Moreover, let him who is instructed in the word partake with his teacher in all good things.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.

For he who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh; but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap everlasting life.

Moreover, in doing good we should not let ourselves become discouraged: for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up.

Therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

¶ Notice the large letters for I have written to you with my own hand.

Those who want to gain the favor of men by the flesh, only pressure you to be circumcised; to avoid suffering persecution for the cross of Christ.

For those who are circumcised do not keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

But God forbid that I should glory, in anything other than the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.

For in Christ Jesus it is not circumcision, nor uncircumcision that avails with God, but a new creature.

Peace and mercy to all who walk in accord with that rule, and to the Israel of God.

From now on let no one cause me trouble: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
