THE BOOK OF REVELATION

Revelation Chapter 10

¶ Then I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was above his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs were like pillars of fire:

And he had in his hand a little book that was open: and he placed his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot upon the earth,

And cried out with a loud voice, like the roar of a lion: and when he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices.

And when the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to write: but I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up the things that the seven thunders have spoken, and do not write them down.

And the angel that I saw standing on both the sea and the earth lifted his right hand to heaven,

And swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created heaven, and everything in it, and the earth, and everything in it, and the sea, and everything in it, that time shall cease to exist:

But in the days when the seventh angel sounds, as he begins to sound his trumpet, God’s hidden plan will be complete, according to the good news he gave to his servants the prophets.

¶ And the voice that I heard from heaven spoke to me again, and said, Go take the little book that lies open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.

And I went to the angel, and said, Give me the little book. And he said to me, Take it, and eat it up; and it will make your belly bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.

And I took the little book from the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and in my mouth it was sweet as honey: but as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

And he said to me, You must prophesy again to many peoples, nations, language groups, and kings.
